Check out what you have in your fridge, freezer and pantry. Can you make any meals out of what you already have? If you can, great! If you can’t, that’s fine as well.
Take a look at your calendar for the week to see when you will be home to take the time to cook, when you have commitments and will need an easily prepared meal, and when/if you want to eat out.
Create your menu for the week. P.S- Don’t be afraid to repeat recipes! Nightly themes are my jam…taco Tuesday, Saturday pizza and Sunday leftovers. Those days always get filled in first on my menu.
MAKE A LIST!
Take note of what you need to make each meal and put it to paper. If you think you can remember…do it anyway! 😜
Money Saving Tip: Stick to your list & DO NOT go to the grocery on an empty stomach.
SHOP & STORE!
I know it’s Sunday, and your priorities might be pajamas or football, but getting the shopping done while you have time will not only reduce your stress, it will also help you stick to your plan.
Also, don’t forget to gather the right containers to store everything properly so your food lasts!
Now you don’t have to think about what’s for dinner or how you can fit in that last minute grocery run.
Shopping is done ✅ meals are planned ✅ It’s going to be a great week!
** This is also a good time to plan your workouts for the week. As you all have seen classes fill up so don’t miss out!
Making that commitment ahead of time not only helps keep you off the waitlist, it also helps keep yourself accountable.
PLAN it, BOOK it, & DO it!
