It is that time of year here in California…Persimmon time! The other day my girlfriend invited me over to pick Persimmons from her tree in the back of her house, and so the kids and I walked over and picked enough to feed the neighborhood! My family and I love this delicious fruit, and all the recipes that come with it!
For those of you who are not familiar with this underrated Fall fruit, it not only serves as a sweet and tasty treat, but it also is full of great health benefits including their ability to lower cholesterol and increase metabolism!
