As one of my favorite fruits, an apple is packed full of health benefits you may or may not be aware of. Here are just a few of the many reasons, “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”!

Contain fiber (which keeps you feeling full longer).
They have been linked to help with better lung function.
Apples are a good source of vitamin C – helps fight that cold!
They reduce the bad cholesterol (LDL).
It has been said that they can help control those seasonal allergies.
As an added plus– Apples contain lots of natural sugars (1 large apple has about 23g) which is the main reason why they have similar effects to caffeine!
